Benefits of Volunteering
While nothing can compare to the immense satisfaction that volunteers experience in knowing their time is well spent, we do offer some more tangible benefits to our volunteers. The Center of Family Love volunteers:
- Receive comprehensive training and individualized placement assistance and support
- Can earn service hours for school credit and gain valuable experience to list on a resume
- May earn CPR and First Aid certification at no cost
- Are honored for their hours of service at an annual award ceremonies and banquets
- Enjoy a complimentary lunch when volunteering four or more hours at our ICF unit.
- Become part of a volunteer community by working with other volunteers, receiving quarterly newsletters and attending special volunteer functions
By giving the gift of your time, you are able to see the immediate impact of your donation in each individual you mentor. Many volunteers foster personal relationships with individuals served by the Center of Family Love, while enriching their own lives in the process.
